How It Works

    When a spot is available, you will first be prompted to create an account, then enter in a few details and your first month’s payment.

    Receive your welcome and onboarding details within minutes via email and inside your member portal.

  • 03.

    Self-schedule a quick orientation with us at the studio to get assigned your workspace number and receive your door access code for 24/7 entry.

  • 04.

    Self-manage your membership—update your contact or billing info, use a members-only discount code for a class, or cancel at any time directly inside your member portal.

questions

  • Clay is the only thing members will need to provide themselves, as it is NOT included in the membership fee. Everything else, including equiptment, glazes, storage shelves, and firing is all included.

  • Members have 24/7 access to the studio, and there are no set hours. You will receive a code for self-entry to the studio to enter at any time you choose.

  • If you’re a complete beginner to ceramic arts with little to no experience, we recommend signing up for a class series or workshop instead of becoming a member right away. Membership is best suited for those with at least some experience.

  • The Mud Hole has a small, local studio vibe. There are 34 membership spaces available at any given time. We keep it capped so that each member has a dedicated workspace, and it remains a calming atomosphere for the artists.

  • Absolutely! While we provide everything you need to get started (except for clay), you are welcome to bring anything you’d like to add your personal touch to your space and your creative process.

  • Our membership plan renews on a monthly basis from the date you first sign up. (For example, if you sign up on the 7th of the month, you will be charged on the 7th every month thereafter until you cancel.) If you decide you want to cancel, please do so inside your member portal before your monthly renewal date. You will then have 1 week to collect any belongings from your space in the studio.
